Michael Nordine is a Denver-based film critic originally from Los Angeles. His writing has been featured in Variety, the Los Angeles Times, Vice, LA Weekly, the Village Voice, and the Washington Post, among others, and his reviews can be found on both Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes. Michael served as Weekend Editor at IndieWire prior to joining Optimism, a position that saw him filing articles live from the Oscars and Golden Globes.
He is a member of both FIPRESCI (the International Federation of Film Critics) and the Critics' Choice Association.
