Michael served as Weekend Editor at IndieWire prior to joining Optimism, a position that saw him filing articles live from the Oscars and Golden Globes.
He is a member of both LAFCA (the Los Angeles Film Critics Association) and FIPRESCI (the International Federation of Film Critics).
